Our Story

Peterson Homebuilders Inc. was founded in 1989 by D.C. Peterson. Peterson attributes his success to his Scandinavian father, a master carpenter, who taught him the fine art of homebuilding. Raised in Bellaire, D.C and his brother Chuck Peterson have been in the building industry in the Houston area for most of their lives. Starting with their first construction in South Shore, they now build and renovate homes in some of the best neighborhoods and master-planned communities throughout Greater Houston.

The Peterson brothers have developed and retained a strong team of craftsmen and professionals both on site and in the office. They take pride in their association with many of the best architects, landscape architects, interior designers and vendors in the Greater Houston area.

With a reputation for integrity and a strong work ethic, The Peterson brothers maintain a relationship with their clients long after the work has been completed. Our clients include prominent Houstonians from oil executives and surgeons to former Rockets.

Over the decades the Peterson brothers have won numerous Pinnacle Awards, Texas Star Awards, and Prism Awards.
